Ambulance Door Seals
Ambulance door seals prevent water, dust, and outside air from entering the cab where an ambulance driver sits. These rubber parts are also used to seal the doors in the patient compartment where medical care is administered. In addition to providing environmental sealing, ambulance door seals reduce road noise by filling the gaps between doors and door frames.
Ambulance Window Seals
Ambulance window seals, or window channels, seal out the environment and help hold window glass in place. They also absorb vibrations that can cause glass to rattle. Window seals feature a one-piece or two-piece construction and can slide onto or into position. They’re used with windshields and to seal the glass windows in the ambulance cabin and the patient compartment.

Ambulance Flooring
Rubber flooring protects the metal subfloor and reduces slip-and-fall hazards. Rubber provides greater wear resistance than carpeting and is easier to clean. Plus, rubber ambulance flooring can have recessed features to catch mud and water. Rubber flooring that’s laminating to an acoustical foam can also absorb noise from the ambulance’s engine bay.
Ambulance Headliners
Ambulance headliners are installed on the ceilings of cabins and patient compartments to reduce noise, improve comfort, and increase visual appeal. These sandwich-style structures are made of acoustical foams laminated to perforated facings and a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing for easy peel-and-stick installation. Vinyl facings are easy to wipe down and clean.

Pedal Pads
Pedal pads are molded ambulance parts that fit over the metal surfaces of gas, brake, and clutch pedals. They are ribbed or textured for improved traction and reduce the risk that an ambulance driver’s foot will slip off the pedal. Pedal covers are usually black in color but come in a choice of sizes and finishes.
Engine Heat Shields
In gasoline and diesel-powered ambulances, engine heat shields keep heat and noise from the engine bay from reaching the cabin. Typically, they are installed on the firewall. Engine bay insulation can have a top layer that reflects radiant heat, a middle layer that blocks or absorbs loud engine sounds, and a bottom layer that uses PSA tape for temporary or permanent fastening.
Vibration Mounts
Vibration mounts are rubber-to-metal bonded assemblies that protect ambulances from vibrations, back-and-forth movements that can cause mechanical wear and affect human health and safety. They are installed under the engine and in other locations where vibrations can cause structure-borne noise.

Formed Hoses
Formed hoses for ambulances are produced by vulcanizing hollow rubber extrusions so that they obtain a specific shape, such as straight lengths with angled bends and flare ends. These extruded rubber products are made with metal tools called dies instead of molds. Applications include fuel lines, coolant lines, and hydraulic or pneumatic systems.
Hose Connectors
Hose connectors connect intake pipes and tubes in diesel-powered ambulances. They are designed to contain and convey fluids while withstanding hot or cold temperatures. Product categories include elbows, reducer hoses, straight hoses, hump hoses and wrapped hoses. Connectors for heater hoses and coolant hoses are also used in ambulances.
